Kts tarkemmin TÄYDELLINEN OHJELMA
Seuraavassa kongressin presidentin, professori Ernesto Caffon lähettämä kutsukirje Suomen lastenpsykiatriyhdistyksen puheenjohtaja Kirsti Kumpulaiselle:
Dear President,
I would like to remind you that the XIII ESCAP INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS will take place in Florence from the 25th to the 29th of August, and that the submission deadline is January 31, 2007. We are receiving many interesting proposals from all parts of the world, but I think that it is fundamental to have a substantial presence from the countries and national societies that are members of ESCAP. In this way we can show and learn how Child and Adolescent Psychiatry models of interventions and research are developing in Europe, and we can strengthen the network of collaborations and interactions among European professionals working in the field of Child and Adolescent mental health. So please remember that your proposals for an active participation in the congress scientific program would be strongly appreciated.
If you wish to have further information about the congress, please check the website www.escap-net.org or call the scientific secretariat at +39 059 422 3052.
I would also like to inform you that on the occasion of the congress we are organizing the Donald Cohen Mentorship Programme for Young Scholars in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Young scholars awarded travel fellowships to attend the ESCAP Congress will take part in an intensive mentorship programme modelled on successful programmes at European Research Seminars and IACAPA and AACAP congresses. The programme includes: Daily small group meetings with leading experts, Dedicated poster presentation attended by senior Faculty members, Scientific awards, Seminars presented by Fellows, Social activities.
Fellowship activities will not be scheduled at the same time as other highlights of the Congress.
The programme is open to child psychiatrists under the age of 40 who are working on research project and are able to present a poster or a structured scientific proposal. All applicants must be fluent in English and approved by ESCAP and/or their respective National Society. Individual applications will not be accepted.
You are kindly requested to inform your young collaborators about this important opportunity. If you have any kind of request on this regard please do not hesitate to contact the scientific secretariat at florence2007@escap- net.org
